The Streets at SouthGlenn Master Development Plan

In 2007, the City approved a Master Development Plan for The Streets at SouthGlenn which outlines rules about what can be built at this location. The development group for The Streets at SouthGlenn, Alberta Development Partners and Northwood Ravin are proposing to make changes to the Master Development Plan to allow for redevelopment of the Sears building and ensure that future development opportunities remain viable and are adaptable to the changing retail environment. Any amendments to the approved Master Development Plan must go to the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council for consideration.

Additional History of The Streets at SouthGlenn

The Master Development Agreement requires a submittal of a Master Development Plan (MDP) that establishes the zoning and rules of what is allowed to be built. Plans for individual buildings may be approved through an Administrative Site Plan (ASP) if they comply with all requirements already agreed upon in the MDP, including drainage and traffic studies. The original redevelopment and all subsequent changes have been completed through this process.
